A
Moment of Reflection
Of
course, with all the “things to do” piled up
on your desk, you might not think this is the perfect moment
to pause and take a moment to reflect, but… will that
moment ever appear?
Be
unreasonable for a change, and take this time to celebrate
a sacred moment – this one, right now. Drop your pen,
lay down those papers, turn off your phone’s ringer
and check your Monkey Mind at the door.
Ok.
Make yourself comfortable, (check that your computer sound
is 'on') and click here:

Bhutan’s
Gross National Happiness Index
|
While western
economies struggle to grow and face the consequences of
the ongoing drive for increased material output, the King
of Bhutan has invited western experts to reflect on his
definition for the prosperity of his people, Bhutan’s
Gross National Happiness.
What is the essence of his model and can it be applied in
other communities? Could it be a catalyst for INTER-National
Gross Happiness?
The Bhutan
Gross National Happiness project is a development of the
Gross National Happiness Network, co-founded by Spirit in
Business and led by Spirit in Business Chair Sander Tideman.
Sander and Frank Dixon, Managing Director of Innovest Strategic
Value Advisors, are traveling to Bhutan later this month
to join the King at a conference dedicated to this quest.
Look for a report from Sander and Frank in our next issue.
